For our “pre-tour” travelers, below is how your journey will continue.

~ Day 1 ~

Arrival at Zagreb Airport. Guests will assemble at a designated place, to be transported to Krasograd, a unique countryside property. We will relax and recoup after travel and meet and greet new friends at our welcome dinner.

~ Day 2 ~

An early departure takes us on an excursion to the Plitvice Lakes. No trip to Croatia is complete without a visit to this ancient national park, a UNESCO Heritage site. You will be amazed as you gaze at the 16 interconnected lakes, beautiful any time of the year. Hear the humming waterfalls bounding across the wooden pathways that are surrounded by fir, beech, and spruce trees. The lakes are famous for their stunning colors, which change from shades of teal, turquoise and dark blues, because of the high mineral content in the water; you will experience this firsthand, as you enjoy a boat ride on the lake. As you continue to work up an appetite, dinner will be caught fresh and cooked for you in a local specialty restaurant, situated on the lake in a nearby village.

~ Day 3 ~

You will have the pleasure of staying in an area rich in prehistoric history; the first traces of humans in the Topusko area were known to have inhabited this location around 2,500 BC. What were they up to, we will see! Weather permitting, we shall take a leisurely ride on an ancient river-barge replica, as the Romans were accustomed to doing. Dinner will follow in the community with a wonderful meal with local specialties. This is your opportunity to acclimate and relax in the natural beauty that surrounds you. In early evening, a sunset meditation will surely unite you with the old world and mother earth, held at the 14th century St. Roko Chapel.

~ Day 4 ~

A full day of touring old and new town in Zagreb begins after breakfast and morning meditation. With love in my heart for my treasured country, we will explore this city where the architecture dates to the 15th century Austro-Hungarian Empire. Visit the open-air Dolac Market, where traders from all over Croatia have been coming to sell their wares for over 80 years. A perfect opportunity to buy a gift or to purchase a reminder of your wonderful adventure. Feel free to explore on your own or get suggestions from our guides. Afterward, time will permit you to wander and explore this vibrant metropolis on your own, to find that special something for your loved ones. We can share stories when we meet to have a coffee and eat kremsnita, the local pastry.

Let us finish the day with panache at the “Vinodol” restaurant, replete with its charming garden setting, a perfect end to a perfect day. Local meets Mediterranean, and flavors unite with tantalizing entrees and world class wines.

~ Day 5 ~

The Jerusalem of Europe, our overnight host… Sarajevo. Today we will take off and fly to this city, famous for its cultural and religious diversity. With its East meets West ambiance, you will feel as if you are wandering the markets of Istanbul or strolling through Vienna. Once checked and settled into the Hotel Sana, Sarajevo, or Hotel Vema in Visoko, the valley of the Pyramids chosen upon availability, we gather for a welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant where we meet our guides and organizers.

~ Day 6 ~

Depending on your time of travel to Croatia and Beyond, either the solstice or equinox is upon us, and we will travel to the incredible Bosnian Pyramids. It truly is a spiritual trifecta, to be here during this significant time. We will hold an outdoor meditation on the Pyramid of the Sun; a great opportunity and gift, to share the energy of one another, and allow the force of this sacred space to perform its magic. A special time, a special place, a special awakening!

We will have the opportunity to partake in a private lecture about the Bosnian Pyramids from the experts who have worked closely with the archaeologist who discovered them, Dr. Sam Osmanagich, or if we are fortunate, Dr. O. himself, as he explains the installation of Park Raven 2, and guides us through a meditation on sight!

Here we will visit Belvedere, the perfect view of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. Followed by the visit to the archeological dig at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, where we experience the oldest concrete on the planet, and learn about the five aspects of discovery: archeological, scientific, energy, spiritual and healing. We tour the prehistorical Underground Labyrinth Ravne.

We return to Hotel and get ready for our evening meal at the hotel.

~ Day 7 ~

Grab your overnight bag, for a mini trip within our trip! The town of Mostar is our destination today, as our guided tour leads us over the UNESCO Heritage “Stari Most” (Old Bridge); this beating heart of the city and iconic symbol, represents a strong history. We will visit a traditional Turkish home and the 17th century Mosque of Mehmed Koski Pasina, where you will take in a panoramic view of the city.

Lunch will be at a wonderful location before we proceed to Herceg Etno Selo, a unique Eco Village, located in Medjugorje. This old-world castle setting, awash with stone doorways and basements, has been completely rebuilt, and situated in a resort-like setting.

Once in Medjugorje, weather permitting, we have the option of climbing the rocky Hill of Apparitions, walking the Rosary Gardens that contain impressive sculptures and mosaics, or meditating on the “stone wall”. For those that want to attend a Mass at the local church, there will be an opportunity, as services are held every hour, and are multi-lingual. Note: “Medjugorje is the spiritual center of the world!” said Pope St. John Paul II.

Ever since six children claimed they saw a vision of the Virgin Mary in 1981, the town has been an important landmark. Over 40 million people, of all faiths worldwide, have visited and left spiritually strengthened and renewed. Dr. Wayne Dyer visited here during one of his later personal spiritual journeys.

Dinner is at our overnight accommodation, Etno Selo, with local specialties.

~ Day 8 ~

After breakfast, we take our leave from Medjugorje and head back to Sarajevo, and the comfort of our hotel. A visit to the fields of the Immortelle farms (Helichrysum), is an opportunity to embody the fragrance, learn about its abundant properties, and enjoy beautiful colors! On to Kravica waterfalls, for a stunning and refreshing stop. This large tufa cascade on the Trebica River, is in the heartland of Herzegovina. So, roll up your pants and wade in the cool waters amid this fairytale setting.

We continue to Teke Blagaj, a Dervish monastery from the 16th century, built into a mountain. This is a sacred place for Islamic mystics during the Ottoman Empire. We enter this museum and marvel at the architecture and observe the views around us. After we descend, we have an exquisite dinner served on the bank of the river, while enjoying the mini rapids. It is amazing to experience how this all seems to rise so stately: from the waters to the mountain.

~ Day 9 ~

Recently (re)discovered in 2005, the Bosnian Pyramids represent one of the greatest archeological finds. Carbon dating has determined the Pyramid of the Sun to be over 30,000 years old, and one of five known pyramids in this corner of the world. (Older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt) You will travel the underground Tunnel of Salvation, experience a meditation among one of the megaliths, walk the labyrinths in the Meditation Garden here and conclude with “an unusual” lunch experience “al fresco” at this site. This will be a life-changing adventure, for you will experience intense shifts of energy, connections to higher consciousness, and gain the wisdom of the ancient ones who fashioned this place. A Challenge… There will be an option to complete a strenuous climb up the Pyramid of the Sun.

Dinner location TBA based on season and availability.

~ Day 10 ~

Last day in Sarajevo. If you think that you cannot be amazed any further, wait! Take in the city one last time, explore, immerse in the local color, and shop at the many boutiques, bazaars, and coffee houses, full of hand-crafted treasures and delicious delights. Hard to conclude, are we in Sarajevo or Istanbul?

Come evening we will walk the cobbled streets to dine at “The 4 Rooms of Mrs. Sofija” (or similar). This unique establishment embodies all the marvelous features that are intrinsic to the city. It embodies a spirit of a long-gone gracious time, when people were devoted to kindness, modesty, refinement, good manners, hospitality, culture, and the arts. Born out of a magical romance between two people from different worlds, this restaurant is a lasting testament to love.

~ Day 11 ~

Our flight back to Zagreb takes us to our home lodging in the picturesque setting.  Depending upon the flight schedule we leave with enriching days behind us, and a bit more ahead of us, nothing like recharging your batteries and indulging in self-care. Another opportunity to bathe in the warm mineral waters and services at Top-Terme “Topusko”, and ending the day with a treat to rival our senses – dinner at Vila Dora. Nothing beats a home-cooked meal after a long day. Sometimes the finest restaurants cannot capture the special love and passion of fresh baked bread, homemade cheeses, and drinks and desserts prepared with sun-kissed fruit from the estate trees!
